After more than a year without any update due to some lack of time, here is Memtest86+ V1.70 ! This new version comes with complete support for many new chipsets and many new CPUs, including Intel Core/Core2 and AMD K8 with DDR2 memory. Memtest86+ V1.70 now includes a new DMI polling feature in order to show all the memory-related DMI informations (conf. menu -> Error Report mode -> Show DMI Info). Users can enable a new option in configuration menu which will be able to show the exact memory stick that failed. This option require a fully DMI-compliant BIOS.

Το προηγούμενο πάντως στην 7600gt μου έδινε πολύ λίγες πληροφορίες για έξτρα πειράγματα, ειδικά σε ρεύματα που με ενδιέφερε, και τις έξτρα επιλογές τις έβγαζε με ερωτηματικό.Δηλαδή δεν είχες ιδέα τι ήταν οι έξτρα επιλογές.

Improved duty cycle generation accuracy for display adapters using LM63, LM64, F75363 and ADT7473 external I2C fan controllers.

Added 'Reference fan duty cycle' graph for ATI RV6xx graphics processors families.
Added 'Reference fan duty cycle' graph for NVIDIA G80 and newer graphics processors families. Please take a note that some non-reference G84 based display adapters use inverted PWM polarity fan control, which means that 'Reference fan duty cycle' displays inverted duty cycle as well as low-level fan control slider is inverted too. Such issues can be resolved by adding such display adapters to internal fan controller database represented by [FANPWM] section of RivaTuner.cfg file. The polarity can be inverted by adding the entry identifying such display adapter to the database and specifying inverted fan PWM controller ID (84h) for it instead of normal one (04h).
Heavily optimized low-level I2C bus access algorithms for NVIDIA G80 and newer graphics processors families. Now the bus is accessed via new dedicated I2C registers instead of traditional I2C CRTC ports. Dedicated I2C access drastically reduces CPU time consumed by each I2C transaction (up to 5x - 7x times faster on certain hardware configurations). The effect of the optimization is the most visible in conjunction with MMIO mode when any device connected to I2C bus (e.g. ADT7473 thermal / fan controller) is being frequently polled. Power users may activate the previously available I2C access mode for performance comparison by setting NVI2CAccessModeG8x registry entry to 0.
Now hardware monitoring graph renderer flushes bitmap caches after each display mode change to help display driver to render the graphs in optimal way. By default flushing is performed within a period of time defined by PostDisplayChangeBitmapFlushPeriod registry entry, the period can be changed by redefining it or the flushing can be disabled completely by setting the period to 0.
Improved diagnostic report module:
Improved navigation via the list of diagnostic report categories. Now report preview window is positioned on desired category more accurately when double clicking it in the list of diagnostic report categories.
Improved PowerPlay table flags decoding in 'ATI VGA BIOS information' diagnostic report category.
Added MMIO protection fallback support. Now RivaTuner automatically disables MMIO protection, notifies the user and starts in unprotected mode if the protective system is unable to allocate required protected MMIO range aperture (e.g. due to fragmented or limited kernel address space).
Added #opt tag support to driver files database parser to allow including optional driver files in the database. This token was exclusively added to provide detection of ATI's ramdomly named OpenGL ICD drivers.
Now RivaTuner uses %RTFolder% macro name when saving a path to external resources (e.g. databases or hardware monitoring log files) stored in the application folder. Power users can disable this feature by setting AllowRelativePathsEncoding registry entry to 0.

@Tablet Όσο για την ρύθμιση στοφών, είναι συνήθως στο bios η επιλογή, μπορεί να σου έχει επιλογές : Silent/optimal η με ποσοστά (σε ASUS mobo). Μπορεί και κάποιο Utility της motherboard να έχει πρόγραμμα που να το κάνεις απευθείας. Σε overclocking δεν το συνιστώ την χαμήλωση στροφών.

Now RivaTuner no longer uses single device selection ideology and supports simultaneous access to multiple physical display devices or GPUs in the most popular and frequently used modules, such as hardware monitoring module, profile launcher and task scheduler.
Drastically increased performance of routines applying clock frequencies and fan speed when experimental cloning modes are enabled. Due to new multi-GPU oriented hardware access layer all display devices can be accessed simultaneously, it saves CPU time required on switching current display device and reinitializing hardware access layer in ther previous version.
Now RivaTuner displays physical GPU index in the main tab on multi-GPU systems to simplify identifying independent physical devices and logical devices of the same physical GPU (e.g. two independent RAMDACs located on the same physical GPU).
Improved hardware monitoring module:
New multi-GPU oriented hardware access layer allows simultaneous monitoring of all supported physical display adapters and GPUs installed in the system. Simultaneous monitoring is available for both multi-monitor configurations and SLI/Crossfire modes.
Improved API for hardware monitoring plugins:
Added new GetSourceCaps function allowing the plugins to report different capabilities specific for exported data sources. This function helps hardware monitoring core to identify system wide and multi-GPU support capable data sources.

Improved scheduler module:
New multi-GPU oriented monitoring module and launcher allow using the scheduler to program independent dynamic gamma, fan and clock control algorithms for each physical display device installed in the system.
New 'Pause scheduler' module allows you to suspend the scheduler's activity if necessary.
New 'Sampling period' setting allows you to override default sampling period for scheduled tasks associated with hardware monitoring module. Custom sampling period setting can be useful if hardware monitoring module polls hardware frequently but too frequent scheduled tasks execution is not desired. Please take a note that in case of defining multiple scheduled tasks with different sampling periods the maximum sampling period defined for a data source is being used.
New 'Task freezing period' setting allows you to define so called task freezing period for scheduled tasks associated with hardware monitoring module. Task freezing period setting is useful when it is necessary to program a few tasks with different execution priorities. Executing a task with non-zero task freezing period causes the scheduler module to suspend execution of all tasks associated with the same data source until task freezing period is over and to put such tasks into the queue. The last queued task will be executed in the end of task freezing period.
Now RivaTuner restarts hardware monitoring range based tasks on hardware monitoring module startup, on hardware monitoring history clearing and on resuming the scheduler module from pause.
Now RivaTuner no longer records scheduler events into hardware monitoring event history panel by default. Now you may enable scheduler event history logging into event history panel properties if necessary.
Improved low-level hardware overclocking module for ATI display adapters:
Now RivaTuner hides low-level overclocking tab on PowerPlay support capable display adapters (RV630 and newer series) when overclocking functionality is not available (e.g. on the secondary GPUs in Crossfire mode under Windows XP).
Now RivaTuner locks obsolete options in additional overclocking properties on PowerPlay support capable display adapters (RV630 and newer series).
Now undocumented command line based hardware access interfaces also support queued current display device selection via /SD and /SELECTDEVICE command line switches.
More tweaks improving target value generation accuracy have been done into floating point duty cycle calculation routines for all types of internal and external fan controllers.
