Server memory? Τι εννοεί?

Μπορείτε σας παρακαλώ πολύ να μου πεί κάποιος/α τι σημαίνει όταν μια μνήμη γράφει στα χαρακτηριστικά της: This Memory is For servers only! ?:022:

Θεωρητικά υπάρχουν 3 είδη server memory

1) Buffered Memory
A buffer isolates the memory from the controller to minimize the load on the chip set. It is typically used when the system has a high density of memory and/or when a system has more than 3 memory module sockets.

2) ECC
Error correcting code. Logic designed to detect and correct memory errors.

3) Registered Memory
Registers delay memory information for one clock cycle to ensure all communication from the chipset is collected by the clock edge, providing a controlled delay on heavily loaded memories.

Όσο ένας απλός χρήστης έχει ανάγκη την 8800 και το RAID1, άλλο τόσο έχει ανάγκη τη Registered Memory.

Εγώ αυτή έχω στον x2 και στο download pc.. καλό το ECC αλλά του αλλάζει τα φώτα στην ταχύτητα(Γίνεται ποιο αργή με σχέση την non-ECC). Καλύτερα είναι τα ECC+ registered αλλά λογικά θα είναι και πολλαπλάσια η τιμή.
